Variable Display

The Variable Display program allows you to display the values of variables during task execution. Each copy of the program displays ten integer and twelve logical values. Each active application may have a copy of Variable Display running simultaneously. The values of the variables are updated on the screen approximately five times per second. You may choose the variables to be displayed by selecting them from a Variable List.

The names of the ten signal and twelve logical variables being displayed are stored in battery-backed SRAM. Each time a variable is selected, the current variables are stored, and each time Variable Display is started, the most recently saved variables are brought up if available. If an application for which Variable Display is running is recompiled, the Variable Display screen (and the Variable List) will automatically be updated to reflect any new variables or variables which no longer exist.
